Here are some of the cards I've made so far with the new Laura Ashley Collection. Some of the customer feedback from "Pins & Needles" was that they were gorgeous but quite old fashioned.I think this proves that you can still make modern funky cards - covering chipboard with the papers and adding some brads and a little bit of ribbon.
Oriental has never been a favourite of mine but here I overstamped one of the papers with a flower from the clear stamp set added gold ribbon and a Craftwork Cards sentiment and I think it works really well.
Well no more time to play - lots of card orders to finish so back to the grind for me today.....

These are gorgeous! Think I might have to hunt down some Laura Ashley papers. Only thing is, don't know if I would want to use them or look at them....lol.

Love what you've done with the papers... especially the overstamping with the acrylic stamp so much so I think I'll have to pull some of the Laura Ashley stuff out for myself & have a play.
