Another fabulous response to last week's "Love & Romance" challenge and beautiful tags from everyone....we love having you all join in the fun each week and such a talented bunch of taggers.
The challenge this week on Tag You're It is from my lovely and very talented team mate Dawn and is
Circles and Swirls
I struggled a bit with this one folks.....yes although I have been crafting for absolutely yonks....I still struggle on the odd occasion and this one came so close to going in the bin......but I didn't have a lot of spare time this week so it has slowly grown on me and I rather like it now.
Started off by stamping the image three times onto the tag......then stamped it again 3 times onto white cardstock......coloured the background with Cranberry Paint Dabber watered down and applied with Cut & Dry Foam......cut out circles with Nestabilities Scalloped Circle and placed them exactly over the image (a technique called spotlighting). Covered swirl with Cranberry Paint Dabber and overstamped with a text stamp......sanded the edges.....then doodled the edges of the tag and matted onto black cardstock.
