Morning All

Yes I'm back again and hey I am now becoming a "2 posts in one day" gal and how rude of me before not to wish you all a very Good Morning....and why am I so cheery.....well it's Monday....no Monday morning feeling at Chez Kath .....I was working over the weekend and today I am going to have a play with some of the delicious goodies that I bought at the SECC.
Now I am definitely not a cutesy person and don't really do cutesy cards....but I couldn't resist these gorgeous fellas and can't wait to get them inked.....and I also bought the die-cute decoupage set....don't ask me why...they just looked so lonely hanging on the wall on the stand and I just had to rescue them.....and make them up into cards.......and it was so quick....they practically made themselves.....

and what else did I buy....got some more 12 x 12 storage boxes for my every growing mountain of papers....4 new nestabilities and embossing mats.....a great deal from Once Upon a Stamp....stocked up on my favourite Versafine Ink Pads.....Onyx Black and Sepia....Tim Holtz..Distress Ink Pads.....adhesive pearls and my favourite glitter.....Glamour Dust.....some gorgeous MME and Bo Bunny Papers...I'm sure they will be appearing on cards very soon......some gorgeous scalloped cards...card candy and stickles from Craftwork Cards and.......these beauties....and I have fallen heads over heels......
Sue from Craftwork Cards asked me a few weeks back if I would make up some samples for her ..it took me a whole nano-second to say YES PLEASE so she gave me the whole collection of their new clear stamps on Thursday at the SECC....they are absolutely delish......now I had lots of DT and other stuff to do over the weekend but I just had to stop and have a little play......can't show the cards yet.....but maybe a little sneaky peek later.....and I am totally addicted.....so once the samples are finished....you could be seeing quite a lot of these gorgeous girlies and cute floral images...... a little clue......the gorgeous girlies meet Tim Holtz......and that is a marriage made in heaven....the start of a beautiful friendship.
I think hubby was a little surprised that I only had one bag of purchases from the SECC "are you feeling OK" were his opening words....but it was some bag.....an enormous Fiskars carrier bag.....a freebie on the stand but whoever designed this bag....must have been 10' tall......it had great long handles and mine was trailing the ground....all it needed was wheels and it would have been perfect.......OK it was over the shoulder to begin with but once it got jammed packed with stuff.....it was too heavy for that.....so need to send a little memo off to the Marketing Dept....make the handles a bit shorter folks and it will be perfect.
Off to walk "The Budster" and it is absolutely freezing here and blowing a gale but the sun is shining.........so wrapping up nice and toasty.......back later with a little sneaky peek of the girls...
Hugs Kath xxxxxx
