Stampin Chic Challenge

Morning folks....hope you are all enjoying your Easter Holiday Weekend.....weather here has been fabulous..and would you believe the old gal is picking up a little bit of the sun kissed look....but OH NO......woke up this morning to thick fog......Mr Sun is trying hard to peek his head through so fingers crossed it will clear....doesn't it make you feel like bouncing out of bed and getting on with the day when the sun is shining.....and believe me I need lots of bounce this week.... busy busy.... lots of stuff to do.....so let's get started......it's time for me to show my card for this week's Stampin Chic Challenge......and gorgeous cards this week from the other chicklits on the team.
The challenge this week is Limited Supplies Challenge # 2 set by my lovely teamies Kim & Mina and is

KEEP IN SHAPE
no nothing to do with exercising
or going to the gym.....
choose a shape for your card and stick with
that shape through all the elements of your card
and I chose CIRCLES
and prepare yourselves folks....this is
TRES FUNKY AND BRIGHT...BRIGHT...BRIGHT
Black Circle Card
White Cardstock
Papers: Black and White from CCSSR "The Big One"
Stamps: CCSR Doodling Stamp Set
CCSR Sentiment Stamp Set
Flowers: Papermania
Ribbon: Anita's Black Organza
Dots and Flower Centres punched from various papers
Whispers: Lime Green & Black Ink Pads
Well I did warn you....rather bright and funky for me....but do you know what.....IT'S GROWING ON ME....now if you look closely at the top right you will see a small red mark.....well just as I finished the card I noticed that I had cut my finger and a small drop of blood had dropped onto the card....quick action needed with the old baby wipe....but unfortunately couldn't get it all off and I was darned if I was starting all over again...so half close your eyes and pretend it's not there.......back later with a challenge card.
Hugs Kath xxxxxx

  1. Loving this card with all the circle elements. The colour combo really works well. Now who said us crafters don't spill blood, sweat and tears for our creations. Hugs from Desire
