Stampin Chic Technique Challenge # 2

Morning Folks..it's Wednesday and that means it's my turn to show my card for Technique Challenge # 2 over on Stampin Chic.......the challenge this week set by my lovely teamies Katy and Tab....is to

MAKE YOUR OWN FLOWERS
Easy Peasy Card.....I thought but  OH NO......would have probably gone for my favourite shabby chic type flower but my teamie Kim had already done that one....so back to the drawing board.....I decided to go with a flower made out of heart shapes in 3 different sizes......and this is where it became complicated....didn't have three heart punches  in three different sizes....so ended up drawing the hearts freehand and cutting them all out......so bang goes the easy peasy card....it's now turned into a marathon.  The stem of the flower is stitched using the ribbon and then a separate piece of ribbon slipped behind and tied in a knot for the leaves. Finished off by adding some dots punched out of the patterned paper.
Papers: CCSR "The Big One"
Ribbon: Anitas
Sentiment: CCSR Sentiment Stamps
Papermania Rub-ons
Pink Glitter Brad: Papermania
Well off to carry on crafting.....yes still got loads to do this week....but I have managed to get some challenge cards done....will be back with them later....this is going to prove to be a bit of a crafty fest day..
Hugs Kath xxxxxx
