Morning folks.....Okey dokey are you ready for the grand tour of the New Cubbyhole.....beware a bit pic heavy....and I've had to eat my words.....I know I was a bit sceptical but now it is up and running.....I am loving it....lots of space and if I say so myself.....brilliantly designed.....a bit like a galley kitchen.....everything close at hand.....still a bit of tinkering to be done.....and some more stuff to move in....once I get more shelves from Ikea
and I am so loving this red wall.....just a pity there ain't enough space in here for a bed....because I could easily spend 24/7 in here.......the one thing I do miss is my little chill out space which was just outside the door of my old cubbyhole...where I could pass the time of day with my birdie chums....but hey nothing's absolutely perfect
but oh dear.....the devastation in the old cubbyhole....how sad is this.....
must get out there tomorrow and finish off sorting things out.....I have a feeling I don't want to......because it is going to be quite emotional saying goodbye to my old crafty place....let me tell you there have been quite a few cards made in here over the years and I am going to miss the old place.......catch up with you tomorrow....with something...don't know what yet...am working on it.......Hugs Kath xxxxxxxx
P.S. And "His Nibs" is back to his normal hooligan self....managed to get a good look between his toes last night and it looks like he just scratched it......probably on a stick......so it's back to our usual morning stroll.

I know what you mean about it being emotional. I am about to move from my tiny studio in the garden into my daughters bedroom (moved out last week ) and I went to tidy up both spaces a bit yesterday and wondered if I really wanted to move as I love my little studio. It will however make a lovely summer house)

This is fantastic Kath. Wish I had a space like that. I have a gate-leg table(half up) with my laptop and stuff you use all the time next to a bookcase (handy for cuttlebug, small guillotine, other stuff you use a lot!). I also have lots of redundant filing cabinets with stamps, ink pads, stickles, things that are not used so often and my big guillotine lives there. Then there are the "really useful boxes" with nesties, sugar nellies, buttons, ribbons...... I need a set up like yours. I waste lots of time trotting about fetching things to where I work!!

oh how fab your new craft room looks! In my ideal house I would have a dedicated craft room.......I use the dining table at the moment! Haven't even got a room for the new baby if its a boy, let alone a craft room lol
have fun in your new space, I am sure just as many cards will ba made in this one than in the other......and just think how lovely not to have to trek out through the snow in a few months :o)

Hi Kath, fab craft room - would love to have the space to have a dedicated room but mine has to share with my home office so its hard to separate work and fun (but that's not so bad!)
Just wondering where you got the multi coloured filing cabinet - looks like its 12x12 so would be fantastic for all my great papers? Great if you could point me to the supplier

Oh my, this is what super duper organisation looks like I suppose. Congratulations on doing your own make-over and achieving such stunning results. Just love everything about it and I can just imagine that you are over the moon and are creating blissfully with the old Budster lying comfortably on the lounger especially incorporated into the design for him.
