Playtime

Morning folks......I had a real fun day yesterday getting my fingers all inky......playing with these gorgeous stamps from Artemio...the images have a real etching feel to them and I love the trees and of course...the snowflakes.
and apologies in advance for the pics....lots of great natural daylight but it was blowing a mini hurricane...if I had set the cards up outdoors....chances are they would have been half way to Europe by now.....so it had to be indoor shots

and my favourite....I wonder why....

Images: Artemio...Impressionist Christmas
                 ....Impressionist Noel
Snowflake: Cuttlebug Die
Sentiments: Craftwork Cards
Flower: Craftwork Cards Festive Flowers
Buttons...ribbon & twine from stash
Self Adhesive Gems
Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads...Antique Linen...Brushed Corduroy....Walnut Stain
Frayed Burlap...Peeled Paint and Faded Jeans
Ranger..Distress Stickles....Antique Linen

And what am I doing today....well to start off I am thanking my lucky stars we still have a roof on the house...the wind last night was horrendous.....lots of tree branches down and yes leaves all over the garden.  Our garden fence has taken a bit of a battering.....so that will keep hubby occupied today while I  have another FUN day...this making cards for fun is so addictive....so today it's some simple cutsie Christmas cards which hopefully I can share with you all tomorrow and maybe...get some challenge cards sorted.
I am a "real up early in the morning kinda" girl but the last week or so I have been struggling to drag myself out of bed......I hate the darker mornings and was I relieved that I didn't have to get up at crack of dawn again this morning to go to the car boot.   I never got a chance during the week to let you all know about last Sunday's trip....a very productive trip indeed....met lots of lovely crafters and were they in a buying mood....I arrived with 4 huge boxes of stuff and came home at 1pm with barely enough to fill one box and a bundle of cash for the crafty stash piggy bank....which will come in handy for my trip to the SECC....no doubt I will see some goodies there that I just have to buy.....and I will also be looking out for some extra special things for a little give-away.
Toodle...oo for now.......hugs Kath xxxxxx
Edited to add....I had a real job hunting these stamps down but eventually found theme HERE

  1. Gorgeous cards Kath. I like Artemio stamps and they are not too expensive.
I went to my cousins orchard yesterday to pick apples and pears, luckily it's an orchard with low trees, I wouldn't have liked to climb big trees with the wind we had yesterday.

  26. Thanks for adding in the link for the Artemio stamps, Kath.. Have ordered the Noel set! :o)

Kind of difficult to use the excuse that they "fell into my basket" when I've ordered on-line, but must have been a technical glitch, eh? ;o)

    Hugs,
    Chris xx
