Remember

Today is Remembrance Sunday in the UK when we remember all those members of our armed forces past and present who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the fight for PEACE.

They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them
God bless all our brave armed forces caught up in the senseless war in Iraq and Afghanistan and keep them safe.  Oh for a world where we can all live in peace and harmony with our neighbours regardless of colour, creed or religious beliefs.

  1. A lovely post, Kath.
    I endorse your sentiments exactly.
I have just watched the parade past the cenotaph on TV with a lump in my throat, as I do every year
