Papertake Weekly Challenge... Sketch 34

Morning folks....and am I glad that I burned the midnight oil to get my Martha Stewart TSV.....apparently both options had sold out by the repeat hours in the morning.....and I can't believe my luck....I have been eyeing up the brand new Martha Stewart scoring board online.....the new kid on the block in the US.....selling like hot cakes and going by the feedback ....giving the Scorpal a real run for its money....would it be featured on any of the Martha Stewart QVC programmes yesterday....lo and behold on the 7pm show.....it was the first item and because the TSV had sold out....it was the One Time Only....priced at £15.00.....a real snip compared to the price of the Scorpal.....boy I nearly tripped over myself to get to the phone....and am now chomping at the bit waiting for my lovely postie delivering my MS goodies.
The challenge this week over at Papertake Weekly is another fabby sketch by my lovely bloggy bud....Dawny P....and I decided to make a fun card for "His Nibs" to send with his first goodie parcel....and believe me this was way out of my comfort zone.....I am not really a sticker girl but these American Craft stickers are so darned cute and if they aren't going to be gathering dust in my stash for the next five years....I need to get using them.

Papers: WeR Memory Keepers....Whiteout Collection
Image: American Crafts Cardstock Stickers
Sentiment: WeRMK...Whiteout Rub-on
Chipboard Alphabets....Nonsense Collection
Ribbon...American Crafts

And "His Nibs" will be back tomorrow bright and early with his first GIVE-AWAY...so pop on over and get your names in the hat......and just time for a little sneaky peek...another way out of my comfort zone card....but you gotta keep pushing those boundaries even though it doesn't always turn out the way you think....gets a bit boring stick with the same old....

Catch up with you all later
Hugs Kath xxxxx

  1. Kath - that card is just gorgeous! Wouldn't that be great and so different from the usual baby blue and pink for a new baby card. Loving the bright colours - think I might just pinch that idea!!
Hope all is well with you - need to speak on phone sometime soon.

  6. Great card Kath. Sometimes it's good to try something different. I got my punches early too but hadn't seen the 7pm show as I went out to the rural (WRI) about 7pm. And now the scoreboard is on waitlist only!
