Having lots of fun

Morning folks.....thank goodness the weather held yesterday for a fun morning at Brodie's School Sports....as always anything involving kids is real laugh a minute entertainment.....Brodie just couldn't get to grips with the idea of skipping with the hoop and running at the same time and he was left trailing way behind....

and when his schoolmates started chanting his name to egg him on.....did it make him run faster....oh no...he then started playing to the gallery holding up the next race....

but by the time the relay came along....he was well into his stride and gave it his best shot....unfortunately his team came in 4th out of 4.....well someone has to be last and it's all about taking part and having fun....
and of course Oliver had to join in the fun in the Brothers and Sisters Race

and then it was back home for a bit of a tidy up in the cubbyhole....and some me crafty time. That usually means getting all inky and messy...having fun playing with some of my favourite products and no prizes for guessing what they are.......

Hero Arts stamps
Tim Holtz Distress Inks
Sticky Back Canvas and Grunge Paper

and this is the result......

this poor box was destined for the bin....being a rejected effort for a workshop....but us crafters hate to throw anything away....so after a bit of TLC...and a mega make-over....I think it has scrubbed up rather well and will now have pride of place on the shelf.....filled with those little knick knacks us crafters love to hoard and just time for a little sneaky peek before I get stuck into ticking some things off the never ending crafting list.

Catch up with you all tomorrow over at Penny Black Saturday for another fabby challenge and some great news.
