Papertake Weekly Challenge

Morning everyone...perhaps you should sit down or as we say here in Scotland..."haud onta yer galluses".....because the shock may be too much for you....I have managed to enter a challenge this week and believe me I am every bit as surprised as you...I just had to have a little play with these gorgeous new blossoms from....yes who else could it be....but the wonderful Hero Arts.     Have also been road testing the latest CD from Funky Hand...Colour Me Happy.... due to be released very soon and I fell in love with this gorgeous gingham paper.....put 2 and 2 together and for a change came up with 4.
So I am entering this card for this week's challenge over at Papertake Weekly which is

ICE CREAM COLOURS
I have never been a big fan of ice cream.....and as a child was regarded as someone with two heads when I refused ice cream....but I do occasionally indulge now and the one I always go for is Neapolitan.....which is also one of my favourite colour combos for cardmaking

Papers: Stampin Up..Soft Suede
Hero Arts...Dots and Flowers
Image: Hero Arts...Delicate Blossoms
Scalloped Circle Nestie
Sentiment: Hero Arts...Heartfelt Messages
Fiskars...Scalloped Lace Punch
Button and twine from stash

The Budster and I are off on our morning stroll before our lovely visitors arrive....little do they know what they are letting themselves in for.....they will be set upon by the furry boy and snuggled within a inch of their lives....and then when he is fed up of all the attention he will doze off and ruin any chance of conversation with his loud snoring.....catch up with you all tomorrow for sneaky peek Friday.....where has the week gone.
Hugs Kath xxx

  2. Gorgeous Kath - your colours are just perfect!
Not an ice-cream fan myself either really but did have some wonderful real Italian Gelato on holiday which I wouldn't complain about if I had to have every day - even hubby who is a stalwart plain Vanilla man had an ice-cream with "bits" in it for a change (and devoured it!).
Hugs to both you and Buddy.
