Inspired By You....Day 5

Hi folks....oops a bit of a technical hitch this morning.....had this post all ready to go as soon as Jill posted her card at 11.00am but Mrs Numptie here must have posted it by mistake either that or it was that awkward sod Mr Blogger at work again....but no matter.
Well they do say that all good things come to an end and here we are already on Day 5 of my little feature over at Inspired By You.....I just want to say a huge thank you to the lovely Jill for choosing me and I loved her stunning takes on my cards.....it was great fun playing along and I loved the fact that I didn't know what cards she had chosen until her post was up.....I love surprises.....just goes to show that the old girl is still just a big kid at heart.

Here's mine

and another stunning creation from Jill

And boy did I have a great time at my "Totally Handy" Workshop last night at Simply Create....still can't believe that I managed to make a super cute tote bag in beautiful fabric without attaching myself to anything or anyone.

It was a real fun night with a great bunch of girls...but credit where credit is due....the star of the night was my lovely and very talented buddy Anne who was at the helm and guided us expertly through the whole process of making her beautiful tote and all her own design too....clever clever lady and big hugs for making the whole thing completely painless.
After two and a half hours of pinning..stitching and pressing....we gave birth to our beautiful totes...check out all those very proud...smiley faced Mommas with our wonderful tutor.....

I still have my buttons to sew on and then it will be time to reveal this beauty in all her glory up close and personal.  I know you are going to be so impressed with my new found stitching talent and I can't wait now for my next foray into the wonderful world of stitching.....the Cutie Patootie class on 6th December and if you haven't already booked a place....go for it....you will be totally hooked.
Things are a little manic in the cubbyhole this morning...getting packed up for my workshop tomorrow at Simply Create....checking and double checking that I haven't forgotten to pack some vital ingredient....oh it has been known and then you find yourself flying by the seat of your pants.
Catch up with you all tomorrow for another fab challenge over at Penny Black Saturday and my DT card is still at the drawing board stage so best get a move on and when the going gets tough....The Furry Boy downs tools and has a snooze

Hugs Kath xxx
Edited to add.....hey Timmie another use for your fabulous Ranger Non Stick Craft Mat....as a base for ironing on.....I was a little nervous that I would leave marks on the table underneath as I steam pressed my seams...but no it worked a treat and a great time saver if you just have one top to iron and can't be bothered lugging the ironing board out.....another 10 out of 10 for Ranger.
