fun... fun... fun

Morning folks and thank you so much for all your lovely birthday wishes.....I've had a real fun weekend starting off on Saturday with the workshop at Simply Create.....a bit manic at times....it's a lot to fit into 3 hours but we cranked it up a gear for the second project and everyone hopefully was home in plenty of time to get a bite to eat and settle down to watch Strictly and the X Factor and no I am making absolutely no comment about who is or is not still in....words fail me.   Workshop No 3 for this snowflake hanger will be at the Pink Ladies Craft Day in Alford on 14th November and believe me folks after die cutting and glittering hundreds of snowflakes this may well have cured my snowflake fetish for ever.  For all those who have e-mailed about the poinsettia hanger I will be posting the tutorial in the snowflake version on 15th November.

all set up and ready for my hooligan crafters
first to arrive my lovely Simply Create teamie Jane who travelled all the way from the other side of Scotland and the lady trying to hide behind the box...nearly gotcha Anne
and before you know we're nearly done apart from a final sparkly dusting of the old GD
and of course us crafters can't go home without a little bit of crafty shopping

thanks girls you were brilliant

Had a fun chill out birthday yesterday with my 3 gorgeous grandkiddies....lots of fabby presents...cake and more cards from my bloggy buddies which I will share with you tomorrow......but the party's over and it's back to the day job of catching up on all those crafty things that need doing before I leave for NYC.....only 15 more sleepies....crikey and I leave you with these thoughts.......

When life gets you down - just put on your big girl pants and deal with it
but
don't get your knickers in a twist....it solves nothing and makes you walk funny

Catch up with you all tomorrow
Hugs Kath xxx
