lots more fun tales to share with you all....500 pics just happened to find themselves onto my camera so it will take some time to edit them all...but before we know it's time to leave and boy did we have a struggle to make it back home...arrived at Heathrow yesterday morning after a long sleepless night flight to discover that our lunchtime flight to Aberdeen had been cancelled due to the horrendous wintry weather and little chance of any flights to Aberdeen for the rest of the day...I so didn't want to spend another night in a hotel even if it was at BA's expense but thankfully they decided to give it one more go and squeezed us onto the last flight at 3.50pm...we eventually took off after a 6 hour delay finally touching down with a massive skid in Aberdeen. Crikey for someone who is used to bad winter weather in this neck of the woods I can't believe how much snow has fallen since I left and the drive from the airport was equally hair raising. But we made it and it is so good to be home...not having slept for two days...I slept like a log last night with The Furry Boy snuggled up on my feet...I missed him so much but the holiday is over and it's back to work....lots of stuff popped onto the crafty list of things to do while I was away and as always everything is URGENT...so we will be marooned in the cubbyhole for the foreseeable future and in this weather that's no hardship.

ReplyDeleteOMG! this weather is unreal, I'm busing it to Mintlaw the roads are horrendous out there, it's like the twilight zone as soon as we get back to Peterhead there's hardly any snow at all unless you live up my way!
Anyhooo looks like you had the best time in NYC, love the photos.
Bet you were glad to get through all that snow and Buddy must have missed you loads..
