What's on my Workdesk Wednesday

Morning folks....can't believe it's a week since I got back from my trip to NYC and no sign of the snow shifting anytime soon.....the rate we are going it's definitely going to be a White Christmas.....but I digress... it's Wednesday and that means it's time to play along with Julia and all her lovely followers at WOYWW...a chance to have a good old snoop at everybody's crafty spaces and check out what they are working on at the moment.  I have just realised that it is only 17 days until Christmas....how scary is that and I really need to step things up a gear or two or the big fat man in the red suit will be here and I won't be ready......so what's on my workdesk today.....

You probably know by now I have a big thing at the moment for canvasses and when a friend saw some hanging in the cubbyhole she asked me to make two for Christmas pressies....I need to get them finished today and crack on with demolishing the rest of the crafty list.  The rate I am going we will be having beans on toast for Christmas Dinner.....maybe not such a bad idea.....that would solve the problem of slaving over a hot stove for hours for it all to be demolished as though they hadn't seen food for a week and nobody lounging around on the sofas afterwards complaining that they have eaten too much....but of course beans have their disadvantages too.
And at last the wanderer has turned up.....yes the long awaited Fiskars Naughty Boy....not entirely his fault that he wasn't here for the 1st of the month but we won't go into that.....
and I'm putting my head on the block with a little sneaky peek of this brand new tool from Fiskars....I can't wait to share it with you all and I suspect that it may be making it's debut at the SECC in March ...is that an ink cartridge perhaps.....

this fabulous tool is going to get lots of use in the cubbyhole....I love it and am whizzing through the projects....here is a little sneaky peek of what you can do with it.

And the good news is I am ticking the crafty things to do off the list faster than the snow is melting....so I am off to have a play date with you know who.....yee haa....catch up with you all tomorrow.
Hugs Kath xxx

I love canvasses. Your canvas looks wonderful. I know what you mean about christmas time. Like I think should I be here blogging? Or should I be doing something chrismassy. (If there is such a word!)
    Have a good weekend.

  36. Love these canvases too - they will make lovely presents. So, does the new Fiskars tool print on to ribbon or am I not even warm? And, I'm with you on the Christmas dinner question - maybe not beans on toast but something simple and light would be heaven! Elizabeth #95
