Happy Birthday Blog

Morning folks...it's Wednesday and not just any old Wednesday....great excitement in the cubbyhole today but first it's time to play along with all my lovely buddies over at WOYWW....so what's on my workdesk today.....my naughty indulgence from Hero Arts....yes their brand new stamps which are divine.....

and yes I've had a little play and here are some sneaky peeks....


I know what you're thinking....she will now be wittering on again and telling us all how excited she is about her hot date with Timmie....well you're right.....only 2 more sleeps until my dreams come true and I'm not only in the same room with my hero but getting all inky and distressed with his fabulous new products....but that's not the only thing we are excited about today...we are celebrating a birthday ...it's going to be a cuppa and cake kind of a day....can hardly believe this old blog is....

TODAY
23rd February 2008 was the day that this daft old bat embraced the latest technology and started a blog and HERE was my very first post....short and sweet but hey once I got going there was no shutting me up...can't believe how quickly time passes when you are having fun and believe me it's been a ball....made lots of new bloggy friends sadly most of whom I will probably never meet....shared happy and sad times together and I am truly amazed by all the fabulous talent and inspiration in blogland and how kind and generous everyone is...a huge thank you to all my followers...all 1266 of you....without you I am basically just talking to myself every morning....I really do appreciate you coming to call and leaving us lots of bloggy love and kind comments.   This is post number 1436...crikey that's a load of chatting and uploading photos and we are fast heading for half a million hits....gee whizz.
So The Furry Boy and his Crafty Mum have decided to have a little birthday give-away with a twist but I need to get shopping first....so when I get back from my travels we will be sharing some goodies with our lovely bloggy buds.  
In the meantime I am off to get the suitcase packed all ready for my early flight tomorrow morning but will be back tomorrow bright and early with the cards I made with the new Hero Arts and then I will leave you all in the capable hands of my Bloggy Partner....yes The Furry Boy will be keeping you company until I get back on Saturday.

    Happy Blogiversary Kath, hope you enjoyed your celebrations. Those Hero Arts stamps look gorgeous. I watched Sir Tim on QVC yesterday and even managed to tape some of his demos (too excited to think of doing it before - but I did get 30 minutes). He has plenty of great ideas to show us so I'm sure you are going to have a great time at the workshop. And, I'm sure the furry boy will do a great job looking after us in your absence.
