Shabby Raggy Fun

Morning folks.....did I have a real fun evening at my Simpy Create....Shaggy Raggy Cushion class on Friday night....undercover crafter at work....
eyes down and busy stitching
Anne is a wonderful teacher and with her help I now have this gorgeous cushiion for my bedroom...can't believe I actually made this....
love the chenille technique in the centre panel
after joining all the squares together it was time to get snipping the seams to get that foo foo look.....we didn't have time to complete that bit in the class....but I knew if I laid it aside it would join the long list of things waiting to get done so although it was 11pm before I arrived home...it was kettle on and get snipping finishing it off at 1pm.  Into the washing machine to complete the Shaggy Raggy look......cool or what.
I am off to a birthday party today...my sweet little missy Megan is celebrating her first birthday....so it's going to be a balloons and birthday cake kind of a day for me....catch up with you all tomorrow.

    Looks great kath..still not finished mine yet! I am of to the cinema then out for lunch with 5 kids today...then the little one has a party and then judo..wish 'me' luck..lol

    Oh what a gorgeous cushion....that's right up my street.
