Down but not out yet.....

Morning folks.....I've got my moany groany hat on today....been feeling a bit down in the dumps despite the beautiful sunny Spring like weather here in the North East of Scotland and there are several reasons...the adrenalin rush from my Timmie Adventure has almost worn off....the crafty conveyor belt has come to a virtual standstill all because I've been feeling pants with this blinking cold I've had for a few weeks...it's really knocked me for six and despite dosing myself up with all sorts of stuff there was no sign of it leaving.  And what really got to me was the high chance of wetting my pants every time I coughed....well I ain't ready to join the "Piddly Old Lady" brigade just yet so desperate measures were called for....off to the doc for a "fingers crossed" magic cure.    Sinus infection diagnosed and antibiotic prescribed so hopefully within the next few days I will be back to my usual mad crafting self and whizzing through the crafty list of things to do.
Thanks to all the lovely visitors who left comments about my Timmietastic Journey and it would be so selfish of me to keep all those goodies to myself.....so one lucky commenter will be receiving a yummy bag of Timmie Goodies along with a signed photo and chosen by our very own "Furry Boy" it's......
email me with your address Eveline and I will pop your parcel in the mail.
And as if the cubbyhole wasn't bursting at the seams already...look what arrived yesterday....could it be what I have been dying to get my crafty mitts on....
yes...its the brand new Border and Combo Border Punches from Fiskars
and once I manage to get them out from their reinforced packaging....it's sample making time for my next Crafty Adventure.....the flight is booked and I am jetting off to Birmingham for the Hobbycrafts Show at the NEC 24-27 March
to do 4 days of Back to Back Workshops with Fiskars....have a feeling I'd better start now on the high energy drinks and get popping the Beroccas and it will be great to meet up once again with all my lovely crafty buddies.....but if Miss Pink Piggy and I are in the same hotel.....they'd better batten down the hatches.
And for all those who have been asking...sadly I won't be at the SECC this weekend with Fiskars perhaps a blessing in disguise looking at the list of crafty must do's.....Fiskars don't have a stand at the show but you will find their products for sale and being demonstrated on The Art of Craft Stand A03.
Catch up with you all tomorrow for a sneaky peek or two.
Hugs Kath xxx
Edited to add: If you are visiting the SECC this weekend you need to pop over to Stand D11 The Papeterie and stock up on some fabulous cardstock and then head over to Stand F18 for your Sugar Nellie fix.

  2. Hi sorry you not well, I have trouble with sinus, try menthol crystals, fine they work, but only use a small amount...............or they will blow your head off and that's not what you need at the moment.
    Good luck

  4. Hi Kath hope your soon feeling in tip top conditions again. The menthol crysals do help. I've used them for years. The last time I felt rough I took a tonic Metatone. I bought it from the chemist and I soon felt back to normal. Hugs x ChrisB

  21. Hope you feel better soon, Kath-I know how you feel as I ALWAYS get a sinus infection after a cold. Menthol works a treat plus staying in a steam room if you have one nearby.
might be going to the NECC so if I do, I will look your stand up and say hello!
