yubba-dubba-doo

Morning folks...we've had 3 gorgeous bright sunny days on the trot here in the North East of Scotland....is this going to be Day Number 4...who knows... it's looking a bit iffy at the moment but not even the threat of a bit of rain is enough to dampen the mood in the cubbyhole because I've been having so much fun playing and bouncing some ideas around for workshops coming soon to a crafty place near you....well that is if you live in my neck of the woods.. ..but first I need to announce the winner of my bumper goodie parcel from the NEC and it's.......
(Stamping for Pleasure)
Congrats Sandra....if you e-mail me with your address....I'll get your goodies off in the mail.....ENJOY!!!

So what's tickled my crafting fancy and brought me right back to happy mode.....the frames for the canvasses have been given a lick of paint...none other than the new Fresco Finish acrylic paint from Paperartsy....believe me folks I am a bit of an officiando in the Acrylic Paint World having used it for yonks in my ceramic business and this stuff is just the best.....first used it at our Artsycrafts/Timmie event in October and wow was I smitten.....it goes on like butter....just one coat needed and it still allows the grain of the wood to show through...dries quickly and leaves a beautiful chalk finish which you can sand....stamp on or generally have fun with and it comes in a range of yummy colours.  But it wasn't available to buy at the event and I have been stalking the Paperartsy website waiting for it to come into stock and wooohooo imagine my surprise when I spotted it on Leandra's stand at the NEC.....well I just had to fill my boots.
and then the canvasses got a Hero Arts Make-Over
now it's time for Timmie to join the fun.....off to fire up The Vagabond and have a play.
Catch up with you all tomorrow over at Penny Black Saturday for another fun challenge and fabby prize.
Hugs Kath xxx

  15. Congratulations to Sandra. Sounds like you've been having fun with those Hero Arts stamps too - love the look of those blooms with the brown script.
Hopefully I'm back to my usual commenting now that the ohone wires have been repaired so we have our broadband back properly. Just shows how times have changed since the mail was via snail.
