Mr Mojo's in Despair

Morning folks....apologies for not being my usual upbeat crafty self this week...blame it on the bunged up nose...constant sneezing...yes the dreaded summer cold arrived in the cubbyhole and us girls have a tendency just once in a while to feel a bit sorry for ourselves.  The crafty conveyor belt has ground to a halt and Mr Mojo's been throwing his hands up in despair...has the old crafty light finally fizzled out.  I sure hope not...fingers crossed it's just been having a flicker or two. So nothing else for it but to escape from the cubbyhole and because the weather's been so glorious...I spent some time recharging the batteries and having a good old potter in the garden....
and who couldn't fail to be cheered up by these cute little faces...

followed by a day out catching up with non-crafty friends....oh yes there are actually folks out there who are not obsessed with crafty must-haves...don't have a clue who Tim Holtz is...think that Grunge is a music style...Distress is when you are sad and don't give a hoot about stamps ink and 12 x 12's....strange but true.
Has it worked...only time will tell...but the fact that the supplies box has made it out of the car eventually is a start....
Mr Mojo is doing his best bouncing ideas around  for some new projects and if I can't find inspiration from these gorgeous Annie Sloan paints from Rustiques...goodies from Lord Tim of All Things Holtziness and this month's Ribbon Girl DT parcel of delights....
this may be more serious than we thought.
Hopefully I will have something resembling something craft inspired to share with you all tomorrow.
Hugs Kath xxx

  2. Great minds think alike Kath (or what is the rest of that saying!!! LOL) - your crafty desk (apart from the paint) has exactly the same dies that my lovely postman just brought to me yesterday. Bet you come up with something before I do - considering that mine haven't made it as far as my craft room yet.

Your garden flowers are looking ever so lovely!

  19. Kath, just take it easy. I think our bodies know when they need a rest. Mine seems to overdo the "blah" part though. Don't worry about Mr. Mojo -- he resting too. You are such a talented lady that I know you'll be having some wonderful ideas to share with everyone soon.
