Timmie Storage

Morning folks...it was great while it lasted....Summer that is...2 days of blistering temperatures but now it's back to dull and chilly...where else on the planet can the temperature plummet by ten degrees or more in just one day...the outdoor paint studio is closed and The Furry Boy and his Mum are back in the cubbyhole.
The Timmie Storage boxes are finished...a bit of a marathon....definitely one of those "I've started so I'll finish" jobs...could have been doing with a bigger paintbrush but The Furry Boy refused point blank to rent out his tail so I just had to soldier on with what I had.
I kept the decoration and embellishing fairly simple because they will be stacked on top of each other...
and have pride of place on the shelf reserved for "All Things Holtziness"
these little cubbyholes are perfect for storing all the Idea-ology bits and bobs....
and I've saved all the packaging so that I can have a go at this fabulous recycling technique by the mega talented Hels Sheridan featured in this month's Craft Stamper....Captivating Capsules...
but I'm in danger of suffering from the paint everything in sight syndrome...that uncontrollable urge to paint anything that doesn't move so perhaps it's time to wash out the paintbrush and hang up my Picasso hat for the time being.  WORK has now jumped to the top of the crafty list of things to do and it's time to put on my thinking cap and come up with some ideas for my Altered Art Class at Simply Create on the 25th using this pile of goodies....
who says that work can't be FUN...catch up with you all tomorrow...
Hugs Kath xxx

  18. will definitely come back to see what you are doing with these gorgeous goodies. love the bo bunny papers that you sent me. However did fnd the paper very unforgiving if you stuck it down wrong. So will be more careful in the future.

Sorry I have not been around your blog for a while as you may know from my blog my mother has been poorly in hospital, and blogging has been playing up.

  20. I also love the look of your new timmy storage boxes. IF Mr. B. had consented to letting you use his tail as a paintbrush, I wonder what he would have used his money for? More Tim Holtz goodies, probably!! I am looking into finding those yummy Annie Sloan paints here in the States, per your recommendation. They do look like fun.

  25. Oh wow Kath, that’s just stunning!

What a fab way to keep all your Timmy stash together but judging by your standards I think maybe you should have made them bigger, cos we all know what you’re like when it comes to Timmy shopping.
