What's on the Agenda today

Morning folks...wooohoo Mr Sunshine is back and it's a glorious morning...NOT...don't believe everything you read....after donning his hat briefly yesterday afternoon he's decided to take it off again and have a flexi day off.  The Furry Boy and his Mum are in for a rather wet morning stroll and I think it's safe to say that we are likely to have the woodland all to ourselves on a silly o'clock rainy Sunday morning apart from the odd rabbit or two.
But I have no room to criticise....talk about the pot calling the kettle black...after two days of deserting the cubbyhole I've decided to make a weekend of it...I'm taking a trip to Hobbycraft this morning with my "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" buddies Anne and Debbi...a little birdie called Alison told us that Steampunk charms are in stock...how could we resist checking it out...and if you want some you'd better get there before we do.
I'll be back in the cubbyhole tomorrow....and a sneaky peek of what I'll be working on for the next few days...
the Design Team over at Craftwork Cards are in mega excited mode....

Craftwork Cards have been invited to join Spellbinders in their Cross Promotional Partnership....the Spellbinders and Craftwork Cards Design Teams will be getting creative with the fabulous Spellbinder Dies and Card Candi and over the coming weeks the Craftwork Cards Blog will be posting the Design Team's creative ideas and projects and there will be a chance for you to win some Spellbinder Dies.
I haven't forgotten about the Card Candi goodie give-away parcels....will get to it tomorrow and will be sharing what we made at my Altered Art Class at Simply Create yesterday.
Enjoy what's left of the weekend whatever you're doing
Hugs Kath xxx
To answer Sarpreet's question....I fix Card Candi with 3D Foam Pads...but Lynda has left a comment with an alternative suggestion....

  1. gorgeous goodies, i hope you have a fab walk with Buddy and it is not wet. I thought today was supposed to be hot, but it looks miserable atm.

I have seen those candi stuff in the shop - and I have not a clue how to stick them down, apart from using silicone, but then i wonder if the silicone bleeds through? So I dont own any

  3. Hi Kath & Buddy
I bet you get more than just charms at Hobbycraft Kath. I used to go to the one at Stockton on Tees and always got some really good bargains and came away with a lot lot more than I intended. The staff there are really helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. Can't drive now and getting to Stockton from York on a mobility scooter isn't a good idea I'm afraid. It is good to chase your dog around the field though when out for exercise. Hope no one from the RSPCA reads this lol.
Have a great day and spend .. spend .. spend.
    Big belly rub for Buddy.

  6. Can't wait to see what you make Kath - can I just mention that I fix the Card Candi by turning it upside down and placing a blob of tacky glue in the centre (make sure you use enough for it to drop down to the card but not drip totally off the inside of the Candi dome) then using a pair of tweezers quickly turn it over and place it where you want it and leave to dry - I've never had one drop off yet and you don't see any 'fixings' either. I find this easier because I struggle with the tiny 3d foam pads.

  7. Hope you and Buddy didn't get too wet Kath. Lucky for me it's Sunday so it's hubby's turn to walk the boys. Hope you found some nice goodies at Hobbycraft.

  8. Kath,
I am so looking forward to all the goodness you will be bringing our way. I absolutely love spellbinders! Hope you and Buddy are having a fantastic day. We are heading toward 90 degree weather here in San Diego, CA. It is nice in the mornings and the evenings, but rather hot in the afternoon. I am a California Girl born and raised, and need my sun fix daily, so am enjoying it.
