Penny Black Saturday Challenge...Week 165

Morning folks...crikey is it really Saturday already....where does the week go...one minute it's Monday and before you know...but enough of the old philosophy thing...it's time for another challenger over at Penny Black Saturday.  I loved all the Touchy Feel entries for last week's challenge...we sure do have a load of very talented crafters joining in the fun and the winner has been posted so pop on over and check it out...it may well be you.
The challenge this week is....
SHABBY CHIC
right up my street....well under normal circumstances it would have been but I took myself off yesterday morning for coffee..cupcakes (which were delish by the way) and of course much chat and yes you've guessed right...it was home at lunchtime and a mad dash to make yet another "skidding in by the seat of the old pants" card...

Papers: MME Lost and Found Christmas...Happy Holidays
Image: Penny Black....Sparkle
TH Distress Ink....Wild Honey
Lace & Seam Binding....The Ribbon Girl
TH Adage Ticket
and the charm....who knows...another cubbyhole heirloom

and we have a fabulous prize this week for one lucky winner who will be chosen at random and announced next Saturday from the lovely CAROLE...

"Love Nip"
Looking forward to popping over for a visit to feast my eyes on all your Shabby Chic creations....have a great weekend whatever you have planned.  Happy Crafting and I'll see you all tomorrow.
Hugs Kath xxx

  4. Delightful layering of that flower & I love the centre of it. Lovely unusual combination of warm colours - hadn't thought of shabby chic in this context. That picture frame is gorgeous - especially the way the greenish hue of it picks up on the colour of your 'ribled' leaves. The seam binding picks out the ticket colour beautifully & the corner stamping is a treat. For a last minute card - you leave me speechless.
