Penny Black Saturday Challenge...Week 170

Morning folks...crikey I can hardly believe it's the weekend already...seems it has crept up on me yet again and because it's Saturday it's time for another challenge over at Penny Black Saturday.  Fabulous cards from you all for last week's Friendship Challenge...the lucky winner has been announced so pop on over and check it out.
And a big thank you to the lovely Jules for joining us in September as Guest Designer and sharing wonderful inspiration with us all.
The challenge this week is...
MONOCHROME

Penny Black Image: Nature's Best
Papers: MME Lost and Found Christmas
Lace: The Ribbon Girl
Sentiment: LOTV Circular Sentiments...Set 5 Christmas
As you know I've had a bit of a gadding about week and yes once again I was sailing close to the wind and skidding in by the seat of my pants but I so wanted to play with this gorgeous Penny Black image I bought at Harrogate....the bird would have to be brown and these gorgeous papers just happened to fit the Brown Monochrome idea floating around in my head BUT what about the holly berries and his red breast.  TH Distress Inks came to my rescue...Rusty Hinge is a reddy kind of brown and I think goes rather well...don't you just love when a plan comes together...
We have a fabulous prize this week for one lucky winner who will be chosen at random and announced next Saturday from
4 rolls of Ribbon of the winner's choice
lots of gorgeous new ribbons in stock including the on trend Home Spun range...so why don't pop over and feast your eyes and take advantage of fabulous special offers...the more you buy..the more you save and please don't blame me if you have no willpower
I look forward to seeing all your Monochrome creations this week and will be popping by for a visit...in the meantime enjoy the weekend whatever you have planned...I hope the weather is going to be kinder where you are and as always...happy crafting.
Hugs Kath xxx

  9. This is beautiful, Kath. It's so chic. I love the vintage aesthetic, and that copper pearl is fantastic. I really enjoy visiting your blog everyday, though I am shamefully bad about leaving comments. Give my love to Buddy!

  15. I absolutely love this image & actually I rather think that that is the "correct" colour for the robin's breast. This brown monochrome is striking. How you did all that within the time you had is beyond me - unless Buddy did some of the cutting & colouring??? But somehow I suspect he might have left some evidence of his pawywork.
