Summer's back

Morning folks....I had planned to share my review today of the Advanced Tape Glider but due to unforeseen circumstances it's been postponed until next week.  Translated as....the old Red Sky At Night proverb turned out to be right on the button...Summer has returned to Bonny Scotland and no way was I staying cooped up in the cubbyhole yesterday tip-tapping on the computer when I could be out enjoying what could be the very last days of Summer. We've been rather deprived of sunshine in my neck of the woods this year so when the Cubbyhole Crew put it to the vote there was a mad dash to abandon ship...
and spend the day in the garden...feet up and my nose in a book...chilling with a cuppa or two and The Furry Boy just snoozing...

Of course it didn't help with the ticking things off the crafty list but hey ho tomorrow is another day as they say and when you are the CEO of the Cubbyhole...it's a rum do if you can't give yourself a day off now and again....resting up before tomorrow aka Frantic Friday.
Hugs Kath xxx

  1. Oh Kath, good for you girl! I would have done the same given the chance - the only greenery I saw yesterday was the tip of a buddelia shrub the other side of the wall outside my office window (I have such a great view, mostly carpark). Super photos hun, TFS. Hugs to Bud. Sxxx

  4. Isn't it funny how different we all are.......the first sign of sun and I head for the darkest, coolest corner of the house.
Glad you enjoyed your garden day.

  6. What a good idea CEO! A day in the sunshine will do you the power of good.

Lovely flower pictures . . .and WOW . . . bet that beautiful sunset was spectacular and much more vivid than the photo shows.

  8. Good morning Kath & Buddy...gorgeous pictures and your flowers are pretty too. Out here in my neck of the woods, my flowers are gone and we're doomed to rain, rain and more rain and cold. It's always nice to have a day off.

  10. Sounds like you had a lovely relaxing day Kath! What wouldn't I have given for my normal day off today. My colleague certainly knows when to have a week off! Can't even walk the dogs cos my left arm's so sore. Boys have Halti's now but I think my arm must have been pulled once too often.

  11. Glorious sunset & the flowers are definitely to be enjoyed - much more pleasant than the glue applicator (even if it is pink!). Hope you had a lovely time with your book & pleasant snores from the faithful hound.
