What's On My Workdesk Wednesday

Morning folks...we had the most beautiful red sky last night and you know how the old proverb goes....Red Sky At Night...Shepherd's Delight...according to those weather boffins we may be heading for a bit of an Indian Summer...well personally I'm really not fussed what nationality Summer is as long as it starts around May and lasts through to September like the good old days. Any thoughts of topping up my pealy wally Scottish tan are gone for another year I fear and how can we be expected to listen to a word they say when last week they were all doom and gloom and predicting early winter weather at the beginning of November.
In this neck of the woods we can have all the seasons in one day...every weather phenomonen known to man...rain hail snow sun wind...all in the space of 24 hours...but enough of me waffling on about the weather...it's Wednesday and that means it's time to join in the fun over at WOYWW.  What a surprise no kitting on my workdesk today...instead I've been playing with Mr TH...his fabulous stamps and Distress Inks getting all inky and grungy and adding to the Christmas Card Box...

Catch up with you all tomorrow for the cubbyhole verdict on the Pink Advanced Tape Glider

Peely Wally - now there's a phrase I haven't heard since I lived near the Borders!!! Sums up that pale, pasty colour very neatly... Love the cards, esp the first one. Really appeals to me that one does!

Great cards - been thinking about presents haven't got brain in gear for cards yet. Taken a break from card making this year but I did have something I started for last year - may be time to go and dig them out..........

How do you do that? Only have the card ingredients on your desk? How do you know what they're going to look like before you've dragged everything out? Love the cards, jealous of your m.o!

Stunning cards - I want those stamps sooo much! The good weather is a godsend for me - we are remodelling our ponds - 64m of liner and a digger involved! We are muddy enough without adding rain to the mix!

Apologies for being so late in visiting this week but I really wanted to pop in and see what you were up to last week. Gorgeous cards - love that you have steared clear of the usual Christmassy colours. Hopefully I will get around much quicker tomorrow. Elizabeth x #73
