And the strangest thing...although I was almost at death's door with that dreaded cold...OK slightly exaggerating there...I somehow managed to drag myself to the cubbyhole and spend some time doing PLAY stuff...the Aide Memoire is finished and hanging above my desk in the cubbyhole...
now there is no excuse for turning up at the dentist on the wrong day...
I know it's a bit of a thought to return to work after the Christmas Holidays but hey all that lazing around and stuffing my face has taken it's toll...the old digestive system doth protest and will be mightily relieved to be returning to sensible rations...in fact right this minute I never want to see another chocolate or liquorice allsort again...I wonder how long that will last. Catch up with you all tomorrow....in the meantime batten down the hatches and stay safe in this horrendous weather that's hitting the UK.

ReplyDeleteKnow what you mean about the sweet stuff - I have totally overdone the eating rubbish this year. I thought I was being clever not buying in chocs this year but we were given loads as presents and no I couldn't resist them LOL!!

That is just glorious Kath - I had no idea what you were up to but I see now. The spots, checks & gingham really make it so cohesive & I love that little bird who's managed to escape his cage - is there some significance to thef act that the dentist reminder is where the door might be positioned? Hope you get stuck in OK - I'm still tidying the decks but gradually seeing more working space.

ReplyDeleteOh the dreaded tins of chocolate! We stopped buying them for just that reason! But we make so many little treats, tarts, mince pies and Christmas cake etc that we just have to eat, well, we may as well have stuck to the choccies! Love the new wall art, great idea.

Back to work today and day off tomorrow. Getting my eyes tested in Aberdeen so that should be fun not to mention expensive!

Love the aide memoirs, what a great idea. Now, just apply that to the Fiskars stuff and it's a good job! Ah big girl knickers, I do have to use them rather. More often than I'd like!! As for the chicks...do the work first and then treat yourself!

ReplyDeleteOh, know exactly what you mean by over-indulgence - had to cut all sugar based stuff out altogether pretty soon after Christmas :( Love your note board, it's not only decorative but useful too.
