Naughty Sneaky Peeks

Morning folks...woohoo I've been having great fun playing with lots of ideas for my workshop project at "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" in Aberdeen...I'm living dangerously here sharing some naughty sneaky peeks...
and if you pop over and visit Debbi...I do believe there may be some more because she's been naughty too.  We still have a few places available for "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" in Aberdeen on 7th April and Perth on 9th June...

sadly it looks like this could be the last of our "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" Workshops...the logistics of finding venues available on dates when we are all free from our other work committments has been a nightmare to say the least so your last opportunity to join in the fun and crafty mayhem.  The projects are suitable for everybody from beginners to die-hard crafters...Debbi...Anne and myself are there to walk you through step-by-step and whether you're a cardmaker...scrapbooker or into Altered Art...the aim of these workshops is to give you the chance to learn fabulous new techniques using all the latest products and they are all transferable to whichever type of crafting floats your boat.
We have had comments that the £50 fee is expensive and yes I agree £50 is a lot of money but we truly believe that "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" is great value and you get a lot for your money...you will take home 3 complete projects...the equivalent of 3 - 2 hour classes...all materials and tools supplied...buffet lunch and refreshments thrown in and we make no extra charge for the fun and laughter and giving you the chance to make new friends. So if you want to come join us...
contact Debbi at wiccababe@btopenworld.com
See you all tomorrow for another fun challenge over at Penny Black Saturday

  1. ...gorgeous colours you've chosen in your sneaky peeks Kath can't wait to see end result...when events become so popular it does get difficult to find venues, maybe smaller more frequent ones would work?...have a fab day...Mel :)

  8. Lovely little sneaky peek. The cost of the day is probably less than a lot of crafters spend at a Craft Show. But the lessons and techniques learned last a lifetime. xxxx

  10. Well - 3 experienced tutors at £20 per hour - think there's an undercharge going on here! And that was the rate 8 years or so ago.
    Looks like you'll have fun.

  11. I totally agree with Sandra's comment, I will certainly spend £50 at Harrogate this weekend and I won't even learn anything! My only suggestion is that the three of you do an online crafty session (like TH himself). I did one last year and I loved it - there was a forum where people could chat and display their creations. Kath, your sneek peaks look a-ma-zing. You are a truly talented lady.

  12. I just can't wait for June to come..... Having travelled to Aberdeen for one of the GJWTHF classes I had great time worth every penny spent....including what I bought at Papeterie!!!!!! Cx

  14. Hi Kath and Buddy, wow I wished I lived nearer to you for the Girls Just Want to Have Fun!
These days £50 is a bit of money but if you were to go to a craft store and attempt to buy all the things that you need to complete the three projects but I bet it would cost way more than £50 - and you'd not get any tuition, help or fun hugs Karen

  16. Lovely sneak peeks Kath, I wish I lived in your area so that I could attend. Shame you will have to stop your GJWTHF's as they sound great value for money and more than that great inspiration and fun too! Keep up the great work on the blog and hugs to you and Buddy xx

  17. If I could only fly across the pond and attend your workshop, I would die a happy crafter! Alas, the pocketbook and the job will not allow...

  18. I'm so late to comment on WOYWW that I've decided to browse your other posts as well, otherwise I get so far behind! Am loving your sneak peeks , and your naughtiness! I do an event day of card making as you probably know, and was a guest demo at a shop 'day' on Monday this week..we're all charging roughly the same amount. Am totally sure it's about perception of value, and you can only prove that once they're through the door. I'd love to come, and would pay that price in a heartbeat!

  19. £50 for lunch, 3 projects and the time of 3 tutors, plus your travelling and fuel to Perth and all the hard work that goes into this even before the day would not even give you girls minimum wage!!! I came to the first Aberdeen one and I had an fab time, learned loads and have since used most of the techniques I learned, bargain!!!! So sad that these may be the last. Hope to see you in Perth in June, making a special trip to see the family so I can be there...lol.x

  20. Sneak peek looks great. If I didn't live all the way over in canada, i would come to your day crafting. We pay very similar $ and our day out odes not include 3 2hr classes.
I think your rates are fine.
