What A Day...

Morning folks...it's been quite a week so far and yesterday was one of those days...contrary to what the furry member of the cubbyhole crew with the big mouth told you...I wasn't off on another jolly...OK I did a fair bit of gallivanting...hot on the trail of a vital component of the DIY variety for a crafty project...B&Q was my first port of call...should have known better...amongst the thousands of products they sell...could I find the one little thing I needed and locating a member of staff for assistance is like looking for a needle in a haystack...hardly what you would call a "float my boat" jolly day but the little blighter was finally located in a little backstreet hardware store and all's well that ends well.
I'll now be chaining myself to my workdesk for the next 2 days...cranking up the production line to get those Christmas projects finished...yes Christmas in May sounds a bit crazy doesn't it and you won't be surprised to know that I'm struggling to get into the Christmas groove but I have a plan...I know a man who may well just put me in the mood...who else but the delectable Mr Buble.
There's a certain urgency to nailing those christmas crafty deadlines because...hold on a minute until I cover The Furry Boy's ears...I'm off on another jolly on Saturday...a girly weekend away with my little sis and a couple of friends...oops guess who's going to have a face like a fiddle come Saturday.
But before I go I have mega mega exciting news to share with you all...check out the latest product from Fiskars...launching in the US in June and coming to the UK soon...can't wait to have a play...

And talking of play it's time to cue the music...pull up the big girl knickers and get crafting but first things first...tidy up yesterday's debris...
See you all tomorrow for sneaky peek Friday.
Hugs Kath xxx

  4. Trust Buddy to get it wrong when he said you were off out gallivanting. Typical male!

Pity the lovely weather's disappeared and it's back to damp dogs again.

  6. Ah, the delectable Mr Buble indeed' so glad my lovely fellow countryman floats your boat too! That letterpress looks amazing, it does look quite easy to use too. At least with the weather change you might be more comfortable in the cubby hole - but poor Buddy this weekend, he's not going to like it.............Crafty hugs, Anne x

  7. I saw a video of the machine yesterday - looks very interesting! Cleaning up in a craft room always seems more enjoyable than when doing the rest of the home!

  9. Creativeness comes by making mess, no avoiding it so if having fun why care. My quote of the day lol. My desk and floor about the same as yours. Have a lovely girlie weekend, I'm sure there'll be a lot of hilarity going by some of your past jaunts Kath. Enjoy. Carolxx

  14. That looks a very exciting piece of kit - I haven't yet invested in a die cutting machine of any sort, so this gives me another one to consider before taking the plunge!

  16. That new Fiskars system looks pretty amazing! I'm going to keep my eye out for it here in the US. I've been using my little Cuttlebug for about 3 years and have nearly worn the poor thing out.
