Less Is More Challenge 75#

Morning folks...can this weather get any worse...it's not only dark dreary and rather soggy but the wind is now blowing down from the arctic...I'm sitting on the radiator in the cubbyhole...yes central heating on in the middle of July...unbelieveable...watching the rain run down the window and you would never guess what month of the year it was...it could be February or November but never in a million years would you guess it was July.
I suppose the upside is I'm charging ahead with the crafty stuff...managing to have a little playtime in between and seeing as the gorgeous Fresh Daisy Die was still on my workdesk waiting to be returned to the new mega organised storage system...voila a card for the challenge over at Less Is More which this week is a colour challenge...

GOLD...
"It can be shiny or matt, but we'd like it to be unmistakably gold!"
so nothing else for it but to delve into the long forgotten embossing powders...now there's another area that definitely needs a good going over...

And hang onto those galluses folks...I'll see you all tomorrow with my Timmie Tag...don't all faint at once...finally it's done...just a little late...I'm waiting for a little window of daylight to snap a pic but that may take some time. But I have to dash...the grandkiddies will be arriving shortly and I need to come up with a "rainy day" plan of entertainment
Hugs Kath xxx

  3. Hi Kath, love the less is more with your card, simple and stunning. I can honestly say that for once in my life this weather's getting me down, thank goodness I have a craft room to keep me happy each day. Have a good day with the kids, maybe it will dry up for a few hours later on.

  6. Hi Kath, I think your less is more card is stunning, love that die (note to self - you do not need it!) and the embossing is fabulous. As you know I have done my tag but like you not too happy with it, but it's the doing it that counts I guess. Hate to tell you this but is has not rained here since lunchtime yesterday and there is a big yellow thing in the sky, do you remember those things? - LOL. Hope it lasts here and that you get some too. Crafty hugs, Anne x

  16. A glorious combination & I love the brads with the sentiment. Hope you manage to keep the youngsters entertained.
We seem to have a glimmer of sunshine but I hear rain is forecast for this afternoon so that's probably your weather from this morning reaching our southern parts.
