But I need to get a wiggle on and get tidied up before the grandkiddies arrive for their sleep over...after the torrential downpours of yesterday and today doesn't look much better...I hope they've packed their wellies.
And for those of you who are not familiar with the word "midden" official translation coming up...
"dung heap or cess pit...popular insult in the North of Ireland and Scotland and often used to describe any slovenly mess including persons"

ReplyDeleteGoodness Kath, that is how my lovely Scottish Dad used to describe our bedrooms when we were kids! He's been gone awhile so it was lovely to hear it used again. ReplyDeleteI wish my midden looked as good. I've new stuff piled on my desk for the past coulple of weeks. No room to play as haven't sorted a home for them yet, so my creativity has followed me downstairs while I close the door on my midden craft room.
It does look as if you made good progress with the ideas. Welly weather still here too. Hope you have a lovely time whatever you're all up to.

ReplyDeleteSusan and I made it to Oldmeldrum at last and had a small spend. Then I made Apricot chutney. Can still smell it everywhere!!
