Christmas is Coming...

HI folks...we're only a few days into October and here we go again...the supermarket Christmas hype has started...all the normal stuff is being removed and replaced with all those Christmas Must-Have things...from cards to decorations and towers of tins of your favourite chocs...mark my words they're getting ready to bombard us with the Countdown to Christmas message...intended to send us all off on a buying frenzy and it gets earlier every year. Well this "been there..done it...got the T shirt" oldie ain't falling for it...I'll be doing my usual last minute running around like a headless chicken routine...that's what Christmas is all about or is it because if I bought stuff now I would probably forget where I put it or the temptation of all those chocs would just be too much.
And talking of Christmas...I had a busy demo morning at The Papeterie on Saturday...thanks to all the lovely crafty girls who kept me company while I played with The Elegance Flowers and Paper Pad from Craftwork Cards...the time doesn't half fly by when you're having fun...I completely forgot to take pics until it was time to tidy up...
I love the neutral colours in this pad but not perhaps what you would choose for Christmas but you know me I like to give myself a bit of a challenge now and again and if you have a shed load of cards to make...not enough time and you love the clean crisp contemporary modern look...this may be the answer...all it needs is a little bit of added sparkle and before you know you'll be racing through your Christmas Card List...

and a wall hanger that would fit in with anybody's decor...

I'll be back later in the week to share some more Craftwork Cards Christmas but I'll see you all tomorrow over at WOYWW

Nice projects Kath - know what you mean about supermarkets - another week when I got around Asda without giving in to the towers of sweet mince pies, lurking at the end of every aisle - they are my diet downfall but I'm determined not to give in this year :) Mary G x
