Mrs Numptie's back again...

Hi folks...the weather's been pants this week...dark dreary and wet but I've been holed up in the cubbyhole chasing deadlines so no matter really but I suspect cabin fever may have set in because I seem to have lost a day...a whole 24 hours seems to have disappeared off my radar and convinced that today was Wednesday I was all set to join in the fun over at WOYWW but according to the calendar...the computer and my mobile it seems it's definitely Thursday. I'm back in Mrs Numptie mode again...yet another senior moment perhaps or could it be down to the pesky cold that snuck up on me on Tuesday...one minute I'm hale and hearty...the next I'm sneezing for Scotland...my nose is dripping like a tap...my throat's as rough as a badger's bum which leaves me thinking that perhaps my brain's decided to come out in sympathy and be even more fuddled than usual...well it's as good an excuse as any.
If you popped across earlier in the week you'll be pleased to know that the Fiskars goodies have been unpacked...not without a few choice words...lots of cuppas and a lie down in a darkened room to recover from all that scissor chopping...I wasn't exactly feeling the Fiskars love until I ventured back into the cubbyhole and started playing....

and woohoo I likey very much...you maybe thinking that I'm a little bit biased and bound to tell you they are fabulous but you should know by now that I'm a "tell it like it is" crafter...so time to shout from the rooftops...they are more than FABULOUS...I love the new designs and the fact that Fiskars have listened to the customer feedback and brought us the new easy to use Advantedge Punch System for making large borders...lots of gorgeous new designs and woohoo a new punch border system requiring one punch and lots of interchangeable dies which also work in the Advantedge and the big bonus for all us space challenged crafters...they all stack together for easy storage so if YOU would like to win some of the brand new 2013 Fiskars goodies...why don't you pop over to the Fiskarettes Blog...join if you are not already a Fiskarette and enter the Christmas Competition...
I'll leave you with some little sneaky peeks of what I've been making...

while I dash off to play some more...
Hugs Kath xxx

Good Morning Kath. I like the look of this new fiskars system, and love the sneeky peeks. Sorry to hear about the dreaded cold and I hope you get rid of it soon. Plenty home-made chicken soup was my mother's cure. Hugs Rita xx

Great sneaky peeks Kath. Can't wait to see more.

Hope you feel better soon. The weather today is just horrendous, we've just had a terrible shower and the wind is really strong. Max and Blue weren't even walking in front of me this morning!!

Kat xx

Hi Kath, you are not a numptie at all! It is just the horrible cold fuddling your brain. Hope you get rid of it very soon - lots of hot toddies I say! I really, really like the look of the punch system, a great idea, as you say, for the space challenged - that would be me! Thanks for the great sneak peeks too. Take care, hugs, Anne x
