How Time Flies...

Hi folks...is it a getting older thing but it never fails to amaze me how time flies...never enough hours in a day...days in a week or indeed weeks in a month leaving me constantly chasing my tail and isn't it funny how your mind goes off on a tangent. Every so often an idea for a crafty project will pop into my head just when I least expect it and on this occasion I had the sudden urge to make a butterfly mobile but that was quickly abandoned when it didn't go according to plan to be replaced by a clock...are you still with me...NO I don't blame you...I struggle with the way my mind works too but no matter...after much faffing around I have another project for the Fiskarettes Blog using the AdvantEdge Punch System...Butterfly Border Punch and Interchangeable Rainbow Border Punch

As you know we've been having a declutter in the cubbyhole...so this was a great way to use up a Clock Movement that had over stayed his welcome...the remnants of a gorgeous MME Meadlowlark Kit and the odds and sods of some sheets of American Craft Thickers.
A little change to the blogging schedule but The Furry Boy will back tomorrow to announce the winner of the "All Things Tim Holtz" bundle of goodies.

I would love to be your neighbor and spend time crafting with you!! Or you craft and I will just watch and be amazed!! I can so relate to the "getting older" thing!! It's not for the timid!! Thanks for the sunshine!!

  5. I totally agree with your comment on time flying. Since I retired there are not enough hours in the day for me. I held down a full time job, run after my son, housework, gardening etc but now I find it difficult to fit less into a day. Love your blog and Buddy's input too.

  9. Oh Kath, I think words are going to fail me on this one. I am so glad that you changed from a mobile because this has to be one of the most stunning clocks I have ever seen! I adore butterflies and they look gorgeous on this clock along with the saying, I just have to keep going back and looking at it. Stunningly gorgeous! And I agree about time too....... Hugs, Anne x

  16. I love this! So glad your creative juices took you down this path. Isn't it funny how we start with what we think is a "map" in our mind, only to go completely off-road and end up in a very unexpected place. Nice work!
