What's On My Workdesk Wednesday

Hi folks...can you believe it's the middle of January already and hey the middle of the working week too...yes it's Wednesday and that means it's time to hop on over to join Julia and her crafty cronies at WOYWW...but before I do I'm shouting from the rooftops....yes I finally managed to get to the cinema to see LES MIS...touch and go to be honest because of the wintry weather but with the help of the best investment I've ever made for winter driving...snow tyres...I got there no problem and what a fabulous film...so fabulous in fact I could have easily stayed and watched it all over again...if this film doesn't sweep the boards at the Oscars I'll eat my hat.
But I'll be in big trouble with Julia for waffling so here's what's on the cubbyhole workdesk this morning...
an old CD and some butterflies....can you guess what I'm making...
With more snow forecast the cubbyhole crew will be battening down the hatches...it's hibernating weather folks...snuggly and warm indoors with lots of crafting on the agenda.

The Furry Boy will be back tomorrow to announce the winner of his "All Things Tim Holtz" bundle of goodies...whether we'll manage to get to the Post Office with it...is a different story.
Hugs Kath xxx
Buddy is waving at Wilma...he's waiting for your address to get your give-away parcel from yesterday in the post

Looking forward to seeing Les Mis this evening, seen it at the theatre in London a few years back, can't wait, just bought the music from I-tunes.
A thick frost here this morning, may need my ice and snow shoes.

Have a good day, stay warm.

Big Hugs Carol x

Hi Kath, my guess is that you are making a mobile? Love those gorgeous butterflies. Golly, I thought we had a bit of snow (gone after 2 days) but you look like you are in the depths of winter there......... glad you made it to see the film, it must have been good if you could sit through it again. Hope you and Buddy keep warm today. Happy WOYWW, Anne x #35

Don't envy you the snow (think we get 'ours' at the weekend!) but you are well prepared with snow tyres, a wise move, my Dad always used to use them in the 60s/70s when I was growing up! Hope you get out with your giveaway later.

I think you're making either one of your altered cd's or perhaps a mobile? The butterflies look so pretty, as does the snowy scene. I agree about the snow tyres, we have to put them on every year too.

All that snow looks like where I'm at (Minnesota - north central U.S.) I know exactly how you feel about staying inside and crafting - I'm no snow bunny!

The snow is beautiful and it is kinda nice to be wrapped in that soft blanket of white (until you have to go somewhere)! I'm in the eastern USA(Delaware)and we're having lots of rain, thus far!!!! I love your blog and all your beautiful cards and enjoy checking in periodically to see what you're creating! Have a warm, toasty kind of day!

Glad you got to see Les Mis at last. I think I'll probably see it when it comes on the tv! Haven't been at the pictures for ages. Hubby went at Christmas with our son-in-law and the grandkids. Not sure if he enjoyed Tinkerbell but the kids did!!

Are you making a mobile with the cd and the lovely butterflies? I'm being very lazy here!

Hi Kath,

I think your'e making a mobile, perhaps to put outside once the snow melts?

Brr, it's cold here and the snow photos make me feel even colder. There's still lots of snow on the ground here too.

Happy WOYWW
