Something Old...Something New...Day 3

Hi folks...the wintry weather has returned with it's chilly blanket of snow and teeth chattering wind chill factor temperatures but I don't need to use snow as an excuse to stay in the cubbyhole and play when I'm having so much fun with the "Something Old...Something New" challenge thingy...can you honestly call it a challenge when it's really just kid in a sweetie shop stuff...digging  into those dusty recesses and discovering some hidden crafty gems that I can't ever remember buying...why do I think you won't be surprised by that statement...so here we go with the latest makes using the...
"THE NEW STUFF"
Hero Arts Fancy Dies...Uppercase Alphabet
 Keys...Labels and Screw Brads
THE NEARLY NEW STUFF
Tim Holtz Alterations....Pocket Envelope...Pillow Box/with Labels...In The Bag
I'm hanging my head in shame that I've had these boys for ages and never got round to using them...
THE OLD STUFF
so old it's verging on Antique
200 double sided fabulous quality papers bought from Costco MANY MANY (in my best Jeremy Clarkson impression) moons ago for a song
time for a touch of vintage and the sweetest little pillow gift box for someone special...

the pocket envelope...great for a gift card holder...

I'll be back tomorrow to share what's "In The Bag" and I wonder what ingredients we can dig out for tomorrow's Something Old...Something New challenge pile.
Hugs Kath xxx

  18. Gorgeous makes Kath. Now, that's more lovely gadgets I'll need to get. Having a die to make envelopes and pillow boxes would save loads of time and I love the alpha dies too. It's nice discovering stuff we forget we have, like getting a surprise present from ourselves.
I have the same "problem" buying something I see and love them putting it away to discover it weeks or months later sometimes after I've just purchased the same thing again. hugs Alexandra x
