"12 Tags of 2013"...April

Ho folks...Time certainly waits for no man...the middle of the month already and I'm only now getting round to playing along at  "12 Tags of 2013"again...hard to believe that we're on to the fourth tag already...
and oh my giddy aunt...this was another of those "becoming a bit of a habit"... "adapt and overcome" efforts...OK I got my Metallic Distress Paints but after that it all went a little pear shaped...I don't have that gorgeous Dragonfly stamp nor do I have Wendy's fabulous "Clearly For Art"...I've got White but that wasn't going to cut the mustard so I used Acetate instead. Everyone knows that the minute you apply heat to Acetate...it's going to buckle...not quite the same as being able to mould it with your fingers but hey ho...beggars can't be choosers...
and a sidey-on view of the "not quite the real thing" embellishment

time to swop crafty hats and move on to something entirely different...my pile of Craftwork Cards DT goodies...
and these gorgeous new stamps and yummy delicious little bags of Springtime Candi...
Not wanting to tempt fate but my heart skipped a little beat when I spotted these golden delights nodding their gorgeous heads in the breeze...could Spring finally be just around the corner...I do hope so...
See you all tomorrow
Hugs Kath xxx

  3. Hi Kath, your take on Tim's tag is just fabulous, love the lush colours and your gorgeous embellies - quite stunning! We still have large pockets of snow (and the farmers are putting little coats on the baby lambs) but the daffs are coming through here too - yay! Sorry this is late, computer down for 2 days. Hugs, Anne x

  6. fab tag Kath - love the colours and all the elements you've used - my problem is no distress paints - never mind the metallics - so I'm really going to struggle with this one! I do have the stamp though - and the clear stuff and lots of acrylic paints too so here's hoping! Hugs Rachel xx

  10. Great tag Kath. Love how you've improvised and finished up with something really fantastic.

Your daffies are looking good. Ours are up and you can see that there are flowers hiding but I think they'll be a wee while yet.
