"Mad as a box of frogs" Saturday...

Hi folks...I'm only now recovering from what was the bestest fun "mad as a box of frogs" Saturday...hanging out with my lovely Kath's Klub buddies at The Papeterie and I'll be sharing what the girls and I got up to tomorrow....first I have to tell you about the most adorable...amazing... funny...mega talented and fabulously inspiring crafty guru who came along to The Papeterie on Saturday to share his awesome Spellbinding creativity...time to put the kettle on and find a comfy sofa for a photo fest of creative fun with the one and only....
I first met Ken at Stitches in February and because we were both busy working there was no time to get acquainted so when I heard he was coming to my neck of the woods...I wasted no time putting things right in that department...to be fair he was warned that the natives can be extra extra friendly but he didn't manage to get the restraining order in time...
well I had to make up for the fact that his visit clashed with my Kath's Klub classes and my mega disappointment that I wouldn't be joining in his morning workshop but after a bit of whip cracking at my afternoon class...we finished in time to partake of a little make and take fun...
and it was FUN FUN FUN with a great big Capital F...Ken is an absolute superstar for embracing our weird and wonderful language and food...he should definitely get an Oscar for his pronounciation skills and having the courage to try haggis..neeps and tatties...any non Scottish person who can say the word "dreich" correctly has earned the right in my eyes to be awarded the title of "HONORARY SCOTSMAN" and hey he's pretty nifty in the crafty department too...check out the gorgeous samples he brought with him to tantalise our crafting taste buds...

and here's my version of Ken's make and take...finished off at home because I couldn't continue for laughing...popped onto a tag as a momento of a fabulous inspirational day...a big big thank you Ken...you sure did make lots of crafty folks very happy and please please please come back soon.

Having fun with lots of crafty pals was the perfect antidote for my DIY aches and pains and none come more adorable than my lovely buddies Joyce and Tina...THE SCISSOR SISTERS...I won't go into details but let's just say one of them is not allowed within 100 yards of anything sharp and pointy...
Love you guys and thanks for your wonderful company
I'll be back tomorrow to share what we made at my Kath's Klub classes...in the meantime I'm back in Project Manager mode but it's the fun part of the job for a change...Source and Procurement or to us girls...SHOPPING  with a big list of kitchen bits and pieces...look away now Mr Bank Manager...I've got a sneaky feeling I may well blow a great big hole in the budget.
Hugs Kath xxx
