Chief Cook & Bottlewasher

Hi folks...well I've definitely dropped down the ladder as far as job titles go...in one fell swoop I've been demoted from Head Honcho/Project Manager to General Dogsbody/Chief Cook and Bottlewasher...with the dishwasher proper out of commission...I've lost count of how many times I was up to my elbows yesterday in hot soapy suds washing coffee cups...crikey these joiner lads have strong bladders going by the amount of liquid they manage to get through in a day and hearty appetites too but hey I'm a happy happy bunny...they're cracking on and doing a sterling job.
Yesterday's planned craftathon fell a bit by the wayside...all the catering...running back and forth again to the skip and a mercy dash back to the builders' merchants took up most of the morning but I did manage a little bit of a play after lunch...hang on to your galluses...one silly moo confession coming up...
did I happen to mention how much I'm loving my new fabilicious NON STICK Crafty Workdesk...in fact I'm loving it so much I don't want it to get messy so this daft old crafter is now working on sheets of copy paper...a bit of obsession overkill to be honest when the mat in question is an all-singing...all-dancing...cleans with a quick wipe product. I've got my DT stuff to get done for the weekend so once I'm in hyper warp crafty mode...that little novelty may well go out the window...in the meantime I'll leave you with a few of yesterday's crafty make sneaky peeks.

I'll be back tomorrow with more crafty makes (hopefully) and the winner of the Squidgy Pins Give-Away

  3. A couple more times and I reckon the copy paper will go out the window (so to speak) and you will be using it proper. I have a lovely pristine glass cutting mat on mine, until I want to get messy...... Love the look of the sneak peeks! Hugs, Anne x

  8. Hi Kath, your workmen are very lucky getting all that tea and eats, I'm sure they go to places and never get a sniff of a cuppa. Dying to see your finished makes, the pink check looks nice...Trish

  9. Unfortunately I don't have a wipe clean mat like your new fangled doo dah, I just have to resort to scrap copy paper, but if I did have one it would be MESSY!!
    Can't wait for the reveal,
