the paper pad contains 36 sheets of gorgeous gorgeous "right up my street" papers...6 of each design and also in the collection are Die Cut Butterflies Flowers Sentiments Bows and Ribbons and matching Candi. The minute I set eyes on this collection I knew I wanted to decorate this wooden house which has been kicking around in the cubbyhole left over from one of our "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" crafty days...
I painted the house with Annie Sloan "one coat" Chalk Paint...coloured the roof with Tim's fabulous Distress Paint...Broken China and with 6 sheets of each design in the paper pad...it didn't break my heart to cut out some of the motifs twice to create the 3D effect and with the addition of some die cut flowers butterflies and bows...not forgetting candi...glossy accents and a sprinkling of glitter...voila my very own butterfly house which will be taking up residence on my kitchen sideboard.
And woohoo I'm loving the new flower shaped cards...so I continued the butterfly theme on this card...
colouring the card with Tim's gorgeous Shaded Lilac Distress Ink Pad...
I've still got the new Paper Bows Pads and yummy Jam Jar cards to play with and I'm hoping to share some more Craftwork Cards makes with you all next week...in the meantime it looks like this sunny weather is set to continue over the weekend...have fun whatever you're planning to do I'll see you all tomorrow over at The Ribbon Girl Blog for a brand new Colour Challenge.
