Creative Chemistry 102...Day 1

Hi folks...before I get into sharing what I've been up to over the weekend...it's time to announce the winner of my Monthly Monday Ribbon Girl/Craft Stamper Magazine Give-Away...so without anymore ado...
Congratulations...
JANE WILLIS (2)
please e-mail me with your address Jane and I'll arrange for you to spend your voucher at The Ribbon Girl and get your magazine in the mail.
But back to what's caused chaos in the cubbyhole...turning it into a disaster "a bomb has just landed" area and had me requiring a major session with the scrubbie...yes I've returned to school and had a mega mucky but lots of fun weekend over at Creative Chemistry 102 with The Professor aka Tim Holtz. A whole week of inspiration to catch up on but I managed to complete my homework for Day 1...
and just like all my fellow students I've been blown away by all the inspiring techniques that Tim shared using Distress Paints...my favourite has to be Colored Crackle...Tim's spelling not mine...
but hey it's all about taking the techniques...having fun  and doing your own thing...

so today I'll be finishing off all my Day 1 technique tags ready to pop into a "Creative Chemistry 102" Folder I'll be putting together once I work my way through all the classes...definitely a work in progress just like the one I made for "Creative Chemistry 101"

which is my "go too often" inspiration bible...an invaluable tool for little reminders of hints...tips and techniques. I'll be back tomorrow to share my finished tags from Day 1 but I can't sit here chatting...I can't be late for school...time to check out what the Professor has in store in the next class.
See you all tomorrow
Hugs Kath xxx
