Help...help...help

Hi folks...I've had to take a rain check on today's Friday Girls outing...the cubbyhole is currently in flat out mode and I'm battling with the problem all us crafters have to suffer...the old not enough hours in a day syndrome...you know what I mean. I did think of asking my Friday mates to join me in the cubbyhole to help finish off the kitting for tomorrow's workshops in exchange for a free lunch but apparently they are currently heading for the hills as fast as their legs can carry them with their mobile phones switched off.
But that's the least of my worries...I suspect I've finally lost the plot...definitely in need of some help/therapy/counselling call it what you will and it all kicked off when I plucked up the courage to take the scissors to this delicious bundle of Eclectic Elements for some DT projects...
the crafty brain immediately went into "off on another tangent "meltdown and my mind is a whirl with lots of ideas...a patchwork padded case for my tablet perhaps...
 and some cushions...
or a wallet for my passport...
crikey woman what's come over you...there's the "first come first served" long list of crafty things to do to tackle first and top of the list is a hot date with these boys to finish off my Creative Chemistry 102 homework...
followed by this little lot of delicious goodies...
not to mention this month's "12 Tags of 2013" tag still to make...
So I'm currently sitting in the corner sulking...sucking my thumb having a "tidied the fabric away...out of sight out of mind" tantrum...putting on a brave but grumpy face and heading back to the kitting production line and I'll see you all tomorrow over at the Craftwork Cards Blog to share what I made with the gorgeous new Vogue Collection which will as it happens be featuring on today's Create and Craft TV shows with Julie Hickey at 10.00am and 1.00pm...so be sure to tune in.
Hugs Kath xxx

  2. Come on, thumb out of mouth! All that lovely stuff isn't going to craft itself you know - and we're all agog to see what you produce with it!

  4. Hi Kath, if I lived closer I would love to help you out, but I am sure you will get there in the end. At least with CC102 you have lifetime access (not that you will need that long!). Hope you manage to get all your kitting done.

If you get time (?!) check out Jim the Gentleman Crafter's passport case (he has recently done about 3 videos), I think I may make one for mine with the fabric rather than paper. A tablet cover would be lovely too. Hope you have your big girl knickers on today..... Hugs, Anne x

  5. Hi Kath, What lovely goodies you have in your cubbyhole. I'd love to come and help you, but sadly to far away. Story of my life, I'd better get on then I can have a play. I'm sure you will get all your kitting done and still manage to play. Love and hugs x ChrisB

  7. That fabric is to die for! What steely discipline you must have to put it away and get on with other things. It will be calling your name so hold firm! X

  11. Hi Kath, it's always the same when a new parcel arrives, the older stuff always gets forgotten about. I like the look of that Sizzix dies on your desk. Have a nice weekend, not too much DIY I hope...Trish
