"12 Tags of 2013"...December

Hi folks...it's hard to believe it's the very last tag of  "12 Tags of 2013" and of all the tags this year...I think this one is my favourite...
the minute I saw it...I fell in love with that flower and surprise...surprise...OH JOY OF JOYS...I had all the bits and pieces necessary to play along...no adapt and overcome moments this time round...lots of fun with the Clearly For Art/Frosted Film technique...it's a two for the price of one tag...
I have to confess that my paint splattering technique needs a little bit of practice so I cheated with a sprinkling of Frantage...obviously not on the flower or I would have remelted it and had to start over...

and flower No 2 using Enamel Accents...I slightly over egged the pudding and tried to tone it down a bit with a sprinkling of glitter which to my surprise stuck to the Frosted Film and gave it a pretty frosty glittery look...
And no lazy Sunday for me today...I'm planning to hit the shops with the Christmas pressie list and not coming home until I've nailed it which may require quite a few stop-overs in the M&S cafe to recharge the old batteries. I'll be leaving hubby in charge of decorating the Christmas Tree or I should say...manhandling it down from the loft...getting the lights on and working...the decoration or rearrangement of all the baubles will probably be my "sneaking in when he's not looking" task for tomorrow.
Hugs Kath xxx

  1. These are really pretty. I think your sitter technique is way better than what mine will be. I cannot get my hands on Clearly for Art. One more try looking for some. Otherwise I'm winging it. One made...like you one more to go. Good luck with the presents. I'm done shopping;)

  2. Beautiful tags! I love them both. I was out shopping today for birthday gifts....Christmas gifts are on hold until all these are finished! It was totally a zoo and I'm thinking I better bring plenty of patience when I shop next week for Christmas gifts. My husband will be setting up the tree and getting the candles in the windows but decorating the tree is up to me!!!!

  7. Your tags are gorgeous, don't think I have had one month where I had everything, including this one so it is still adapt and overcome for me! Love yours! Good luck with the Christmas shopping, feeling a bit smug because mine is done thanks to my trusty computer.... Hugs, Anne x

  10. these tags are really pretty Kath. So delicate looking. I haven't managed to get into the Tags this year but January's is just around the corner so here's hoping. I am buzzing at the moment as I am just back from our annual Guiding outing to Eden Court Panto. It was fantastic (and the kids enjoyed it too!). There's nothing like a Panto to bring out the big kid in you!

  12. Hi Kath, love them both, lucky girls if they get one like that on their parcel. Gorgeous colours. Hope you managed to get all the shopping done, I'm trying to get the cards all done first before I start wrapping the pressies...Trish

  15. These tags are so gorgeous Kath. I have got the clearly for art stuff but they would also look good in red vellum (which by a miracle I also have!) Loved your snowmen from yesterday too. Had a busy time singing in my choir concert in the afternoon and then in the evening playing in our ukulele concert where I sang my solo Ukulele lady. Still haven't come down to earth yet - it was FAB. Never put decs up until 20th and as I'm married to the biggest humbug in the world will be doing it on my own! X
