A bit of a midden...

Hi folks...if you thought yesterday's floor was an abomination after the latest die cutting marathon...fasten your seatbelts...prepare to be shocked at the midden (scottish word for a compost heap or untidy pile) that is currently the cubbyhole...crikey how can one crafter cause so much chaos just having a little play...
and the first task of the day is that old party game "hunt the thimble  missing bottletop"...not the best start to anyone's day...
followed by the "why didn't I tidy up as I went along" put everything away marathon before Mr Dyson can be let loose on the floor and the cubbyhole crew move in to hose it all down and shut up shop until Monday.
Let me tell you that bit's a piece of cake compared to the task of tidying up this mucky old crafter...getting rid of the inky painty hands...degrunging those nails...taming the bird's nest hair and polyfilla-ing all those wrinkles ready for my trip to Leeds tomorrow.
So I'll leave you with some sneaky peeks of the results of my messy playtime...

and the happy mail delivery from Fiskars...
lots of new goodies to play with or to put it another way...lots of worky stuff to do on my return making samples for Stitches...
I'll be back tomorrow to share one of my playtime makes..as for the other one...you'll have to wait until Sunday and my post for this month's Ribbon Girl Challenge. Toodle-oo for now...HI HO...HI HO...it's a-tidying I must do.
Hugs Kath xxx

  10. So glad you are felling better Kath. If you think your craft room is in chaos so glad you can't see mine! Just as well that I can shut the door on it. I can redeem myself a bit as my allotment and garden are up to scratch. We've had some lovely sunny days here and I've been digging for victory. Back is a bit sore today though.....ouch!X

  11. The floor is ever so handy though for working on - mine currently sports a file holding a few (hundred) CDs……..but at least my husband can walk across it to get to the guillotine which he finds so useful without getting glittery or painty feet.
    Have fun in Leeds.

  14. I feel your pain. Playing is such fun, clean up....not so much. I now know where my granddaughter gets her messy ways....It's in her genes! Who knew there would be so much mess created while die cutting! Have a fun week. Enjoy your new toys!
