In A Word...Woohooooo...

Hi folks...I'm all set for my little "escape from the cubbyhole" jaunt to Glasgow but I've got that old familiar running home hanging on to the back of the train feeling and haven't even left yet...it's all down to this new fitness regime...I've been taking it slowly but hey the old legs are feeling a bit achey and I'm huffing and puffing like an asthmatic train by the time I stagger back through the front door but I think I know where I'm going wrong...The Furry Boy has his breakfast first thing so by the time we're ready to set off...he's a powerhouse of energy...a coiled spring ready to take off like a rocket when his bunny chums fancy a game of chase...whereas I just have coffee until we return. Big mistake from the person who is always banging on about fuelling your body with an energy boosting breakfast for the 5 day NEC marathon for instance...you would have thought I could have put 2 and 2 together...it really does work so from now on it will be a big bowl of  what makes us Scots hardy...good old porridge...some fruit...followed by toast and coffee before we set off and look out all you cute bunnies...the dynamic duo will be ready for a bit of chase action....well that's the theory anyway.
But this morning...the train will be taking the strain...I'll be sitting back enjoying the view...having a coffee or two and the only exercise I'm planning will be to keep the the old brain up to speed with the Sunday crosswords and woohooo...can't believe it's finally here...tonight I'll be exercising my lungs singing along with the wonderful Mr B. Mind you I'm a little bit gutted that I'll be missing the Dancing On Ice Final....I'm rooting for you Hayley and Dan and fingers crossed the home alone guys remember to tape my new guilty pleasure...the gorgeous swashbuckling Musketeers who are guaranteed to raise the blood pressure a notch or two.
And it's "I've been very naughty" confession time...I'm not going to be flavour of the month with the cubbyhole crew this morning...oops I've gone and left the cubbyhole looking like a tip after yesterday's push to get the first Retreat project kitted up...
and I couldn't have done it without this big boy...officially the most indispensable member of the team...he spent the whole day chopping away and even super thick chipboard doesn't phase this titan of the die-cutting world...it's like using a hot knife to slice through butter...
but I wonder if the glamorous member of the team aka my furry bundle of golden deliciousness will notice the overflowing bin and all the debris on the floor....if he's anything like his Dad...probably not.
See you all tomorrow
Hugs Kath xxx
