The best things in life are free...

Hi folks...it's been a crazy busy week in the cubbyhole but there's no need for expensive stress busting therapies thanks to my very own in-house furry shrink and his simple take on life...there's no better way to unwind and put a spring in your step than a clearing away the cobwebs feel good morning stroll with the added bonus of lovely blue sky sunshine...tootling along while His Nibs checks out the local vegetation...
and the only decision to make is...are we going this way...
this way...
or across the rickety bridge...
to check out the cute little tadpoles...
there's no clock watching...
only listening out for bunny pals...
if only we could stay here all day...
but there are things to do and it's time to head home...
to share a breakfast treat...all before most folks have crawled out from under their duvets...
but my Furry Therapist has the advantage of spending the rest of the morning snoozing while I'm off to load the washing machine...tidy the kitchen...clean the bathrooms before I head off for another dose of wonderful "keep me sane" therapy with the Friday Girls and before you jump to conclusions...I do know it's Thursday

  2. Early morning walks along that beautiful trail would set any one up for the day, I am so grateful for our golden boy needing to get out for a good walk in the morning regardless of the weather, you are so right early mornings are great when all you hear are the noises of nature waking up. Enjoy your day. Hazel xx

  10. I'm not a morning person AT ALL, so I have to drag myself out of bed every morning to take our dog (who was dumped into our garden about seven months ago when probably only 4 weeks old...) for a walk until my husband is fit enough after his heart surgery to walk him in the mornings. It's a good thing our Bernie boy (kind of a long-haired dachshund with a little bit of a german shepherd mixed in, haha) is such a sweet dog, unless he is in one of his "I'll eat anything I can find" moods. With both local Greeks and tourists throwing away all kinds of stuff along the road, this means our walks can be challenging sometimes.
