The cubbyhole is slap bang wallop in the middle of the big kitting frenzy for the
it's only 2 weeks away now...crikey that's a scary thought and no mistake...time to up the ante...give myself a kick up the butt and crank up the production line...
Clearing the decks is top priority...the cubbyhole seems to be shrinking by the day...there's barely room for me never mind a great big furry hooligan and certainly no room to swing that old proverbial cat. But hey ho it's all part and parcel of the job that I love...not complaining...just saying...a team snuggle and a cuppa are guaranteed to work wonders and have me back on track.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations to all the winners! Picked up my lovely 88 year old friend for music rehearsal this morning and told her that I had been watching the D Day reports on TV whilst having my breakfast and said what sad stories had been related. She turned to me and said that she understood that these times must be remembered but found it difficult as she lost her fiancee on D Day! Fot once I was just lost for words. Happily she did marry and have a family but how sad that at 19 for such a thing to happen. I didn't tell her that I was widowed at 20 so knew just how she felt. Then we went and sang some Abba - which cheered us both up! Life eh??? love
