Hip...hip...hip hooray...

Hi folks...Happy 4th July to all our American buddies and it's going to be a great big hip...hip...hip...hooray 3 cheers kinda of a day here too...summer seems to have decided to come back...well the kind of summer where you don't venture out without a rain jacket but it's better than none at all and hoop-de-doo I was dancing a merry jig when Chief Hunky Joiner phoned yesterday to say they will be popping in TODAY to finish the staircase...squeezing me in before he goes on holiday...YEEEHAAA.
Let's drink a toast to considerate joiners and lovely warm sunshiney days with a summer cocktail or in this case a Fiskars "Ice Cold Soda" project I made for this month's issue of Papercraft Essentials...

using the...
coloured with Distress Inks and Markers with a little bit of splattering using Tim's Puffy Splattery Thingy-ma-Bob...officially known as the Distress Marker Spritzer...
So with the house resounding to banging hammers...scary nail guns and singing joiners...the Furry Boy and his Mum will be spending the morning in the garden having a bit of a potter and barricading ourselves in the family room for an afternoon of nail biting highly stressful Men's Semi Finals tennis.

  7. I love this card Kath - and that's just what I have been doing since my enforced retirement three years ago. I have filled my life with lovely things - my allotment, art, papercrafts but most of all my music, which is why I haven't visited for a few days. Three concerts and two to go - life is mostly now lemonade - but it doesn't hurt to put a gin in it every now and then...cheers! love Susan X
