A Stitch In Time...

Hi folks...thanks to the Furry Boy's quick thinking and my wonderful "stitch in time...saves nine" friends...the fabulous "they know me so well" Friday Girls...I'm back in the land of the living.  They whisked me off for a wonderful relaxing spa day yesterday...an early birthday pressie and wow...it's amazing what a bit of body pummeling with magic hands can do...I'm back on track and feel as though I could jog to Birmingham...well that's maybe a little bit of an exaggeration but at least I can now put one foot past the other without feeling as though I've been run over by a steam roller and am no longer walking like a pregnant duck...
And talking of "A Stitch In Time"...I'm sharing a "close up" of the needlecase I made for the Fiskars project in this month's issue of Simply Homemade

love the perfect stamping you get using The Fuse Letterpress technique on felt...
It's early to bed tonight and up with the lark tomorrow morning...the start of another "woohoo Birmingham here I come" adventure and I've got some super duper very special exciting news to share tomorrow.

I saw your make in the magazine, it is beautiful Kath. Love how you mixed the felt with Tim's gorgeous fabric too.

Have a great time at the NEC, so wish I could be there too but we are off to London for a few days to see the WW1 poppies. Hope you have a wonderful birthday with your Fiskars pals too. Big hugs, Anne xx

  9. Wow, I love this Kath. Just been reading back, I'm glad Buddy is ok, and nearly at target weight.
Love your new green walls, and the cabinet (thinks can I get away with ditching my light wood effect ones and buy these - probably not!), and DIY does that to me so quickly that I avoid it and leave it to Hubby, although I am much better at flat pack than him so end up doing that! I love the other matching sewing boxes too.
