Santa Claus Is Coming To Town...

Hi folks...the blog post title says it all so what am I doing faffing around painting stuff and re-labelling ink pads when Christmas is just around the corner and there are cards to write...presents to wrap...a tree to decorate...menu to plan and the running the gauntlet of those trips to the shops...in other words all the paraphenalia that goes along with organising this once yearly event. No doubt I'll be running around like a headless chicken on Christmas Eve again...well no worries there...I've had years of practice and miraculously it always seems to turn out alright on the night so it's not quite panic stations yet.
But it's kick up the butt time in the crafty department...all those Christmas crafting goodies that were so must-have...the stuff that put the cubbyhole credit card into meltdown mode again...the stuff that's kept Royal Mail's head above water...yes you know what comes next...have yet to become acquainted with Mr Big Shot or get anywhere near an ink pad so the DIY stuff can wait...I'm on a mission to put things before Santa Claus comes to town.
and I'm sharing a DT card for Inspiration Emporium

using an old favourite...Hero Arts "Holiday Cheer"
get ready to enter this month's challenge at Inspiration Journal...as always there's a fabulous $50 prize for one lucky winner to spend on line at Inspiration Emporium and if you're popping across for a little shopping in the meantime...remember to use my code "allthatglitter" at checkout to receive a 10% discount...shipping to the US is always $5 and international $10.
But I must away and play...see you all tomorrow

  2. How sweet this card is, so cute. We all do it don't we? Rush around on the last minute getting things done. I always find writing the cards seem to take an age too. Why do we do it? Because Christmas is magical and we always manage to sort it all out. X

  3. I absolutely adore this card Kath, it is so sweet and really makes me smile! I am so not looking forward to writing all the cards... it takes me a whole day when I could be crafting - or even cleaning - well maybe that is a bridge too far!! Hugs, Anne xx

  5. Adorable card - embarrassingly I have found some stamps that I bought last year to use last Christmas and still haven't used them for this year. I am putting them all in a box so that they will be my go to stamps before I used anything else!!
